This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.

• The Marion Illinois VAMC is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join Evansville Health Care Center within Primary Care Nursing Service. The incumbent serves as a License Practical Nurse (LPN) providing direct patient care. The incumbent duties and responsibilities are to work patients up for clinic, medication refills/renewals, complete forms (disability, handicap placards, etc.), injections, assist with scanning and secure messages.The incumbent will demonstrate the knowledge and ability to provide a full range of nursing care to patients with a variety of physical and/or behavioral health problems under limited supervision. The incumbent will serve as a responsible member of the nursing team and interact with patients, family members and professional supportive personnel who provide patient care with members of other services.
