This position is located in the Jicarilla Service Unit located in Dulce, New Mexico. The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct patient care and clinical support services in support of the healthcare providers and nursing staff by performing patient care activities, assisting with clinical services. This position reports to the Chief Nurse Executive or designee. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).

Performs clerical, logistical, and unit support functions, including maintaining patient-related records, supplies, equipment readiness, and supporting administrative and performance-improvement activities. Documents patient care activities; enters, retrieves, and verifies patient and clinical information; and supports data collection and quality monitoring while complying with privacy and security requirements. Reinforces patient and family education provided by healthcare personnel and assists patients with understanding care instructions, follow-up actions, and self-care activities using approved materials and methods.
