About the Position: This position is located at The IDES Clinic - Guthrie Army Health Clinics - Fort Drum, NY. Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Provide expert consultative support to other hospital clinics, MEDDAC activities, and community agencies.
- Apply current, evidence-based medical knowledge and maintain awareness of emerging developments in medical literature.
- Ensure all clinical and administrative processes meet Army regulations, Joint Commission requirements, and quality assurance standards.
- Exercise independent medical judgment with minimal supervision while ensuring effective completion of MEB program objectives.
- Refer patients to appropriate medical and behavioral health specialties inside or outside the Medical Treatment Facility.
