Position Summary

At Keller’s, (an Atlantis Fire Protection Company) we believe great sales start with great relationships. We’re looking for a motivated, customer-focused sales professional who enjoys building trust, solving problems, and helping customers find the right fire protection and life safety solutions for their needs.

In this role, you’ll develop profitable service, inspection, repair, and recurring-revenue opportunities with both existing and prospective customers. You’ll build trusted relationships, evaluate customer needs, prepare accurate proposals, and partner closely with our operations team to ensure sold work is clearly scoped, properly priced, and successfully delivered.

Key Responsibilities

· Build and manage a qualified pipeline for fire sprinkler, fire alarm, suppression, extinguisher, backflow, monitoring, and other company-approved inspection, repair, maintenance, and service-agreement offerings.

· Develop existing accounts through regular contact, facility reviews, inspection-deficiency follow-up, renewal planning, and identification of additional locations, systems, and compliance needs; prospect for new commercial and institutional customers within the assigned territory.

· Respond promptly to leads and customer requests; schedule and conduct site surveys, gather equipment and system information, verify access and operating constraints, photograph conditions, and obtain the details required for a complete estimate.

· Review inspection reports and deficiency lists; translate technical findings into clear recommended corrective work while avoiding unsupported code interpretations, guarantees, or commitments outside company authority.

· Prepare accurate, professional proposals with defined scope, exclusions, assumptions, labor, materials, subcontractors, permits, taxes, schedule expectations, and payment terms; obtain required internal review and approval before release.

· Protect gross margin by following pricing standards, confirming vendor and subcontractor costs, documenting discounts, controlling scope changes, and avoiding unapproved concessions or contractual risk.

· Maintain complete and timely CRM records, including contacts, activities, opportunities, proposal value, probability, next steps, expected close date, loss reason, and supporting documents; provide reliable forecasts and activity reports.

· Follow up consistently on open proposals, negotiate within approved authority, secure purchase orders or signed agreements, and complete an organized handoff to scheduling, purchasing, technicians, project management, billing, and collections.

· Coordinate with inspection, service, alarm, sprinkler, estimating, and accounting teams to confirm capacity, technical approach, customer history, credit status, and execution requirements before making commitments.

· Support contract renewals, price adjustments, customer issue resolution, and collection of past-due balances when requested; escalate service failures, life-safety concerns, and relationship risks promptly.

· Meet established sales, gross-margin, recurring-revenue, proposal-turnaround, CRM, retention, and activity goals; participate in pipeline reviews, training, trade events, customer presentations, and territory planning.

· Represent Keller’s professionally, protect confidential customer and company information, follow vehicle and jobsite safety rules, and comply with company policies, ethical sales practices, and applicable laws.
