Position Summary: The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a strategic talent advisor to hiring leaders and is responsible for full-cycle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt positions in the institution. This role partners with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment strategies, attract and asses qualified talent and provide guidance throughout the hiring process.

Essential Duties

  • Manages full-cycle recruitment for assigned exempt and non-exempt positions, partnering with hiring managers to attract, assess and hire qualified talent while ensuring efficient and positive candidate experience.
  • Manages candidate post-selection activities, including offer delivery and negotiation, reviewing background checks, pre-employment requirements, onboarding coordination and candidate communication. Partners with hiring managers and stakeholders to develop and execute recruitment strategies aligned with organizational goals. Evaluates recruiting outcomes and recommends process improvements based on hiring trends, market conditions and recruitment metrics.
  • Evaluates candidate qualifications against position requirements. Conduct skills-based and behavioral interviews and partners with hiring managers to develop interview guides, evaluation tools and selection strategies to support consistent hiring practices and informed hiring decisions.
  • Develops and maintains proactive talent pipelines through sourcing strategies, networking, community outreach, professional associations and educational partnerships, employee referrals, and engagement of active and passive candidates.
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to hiring managers throughout the recruitment life cycle, providing guidance on recruitment strategies, talent availability, sourcing approaches and hiring decisions to support organizational goals.
  • Maintains accurate recruitment records in ATS and HRIS. Leverages recruitment data and metrics to monitor hiring activity, identify trends and support informed decision-making.
  • Promotes National Jewish Health as an employer of choice through professional networking, recruitment marketing initiatives and participation in industry, educational and hiring events. Maintains awareness of labor market conditions and industry trends.

Other Duties

  • Supports onboarding activities and new hire transition processes, ensuring completion of required documentation and compliance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 4 years of full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition experience required. Experience in a healthcare or academic setting preferred.

Salary Range: $77,572.56 - $102,583.71
