About the Position: Primary duty location is the core laboratory located within Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, Georgia. This position will work the off-shift, either 1500-2300 or 2300-0700. Recruitment or relocation incentives MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Performs and interprets a variety of standard, complex, and specialized procedures and tests within the Core laboratory section.
- Accepts referrals of abnormal or unusual results from lower graded laboratory personnel and advises on steps to be taken to verify initial results or achieve verifiable data.
- Performs or assist with performing competency assessments, training, validations, and proficiency testing.
- Participates in introduction, investigation, and implementation of new procedures and in the evaluation of new instruments.
