About the Position: This position is located at Naval Medical Center San Diego. These positions are in an ambulatory internal medicine setting. Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b) while acting within the scope of their employment. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and longitudinal management of patients.
- Formulate long-term therapeutic strategies and coordinate multidisciplinary care for medically complex chronic conditions.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic internal medicine procedures.
- Create complex treatment plans, provide expert consultation to medical staff, and ensure all clinical practices align with current evidence-based standards.
- Participate in clinical quality assurance, risk management, and patient safety initiatives.
