About the role
MODLOGIQ is seeking a dependable and hardworking Construction Laborer to assist with modular building installation, construction projects, site preparation, and general labor tasks. The ideal candidate will support crews in maintaining safe, efficient, and high-quality work environments while helping complete projects on schedule.
What you'll do
- Assist with the installation, assembly, and setup of modular buildings and related structures
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment
- Prepare and clean job sites before, during, and after construction activities
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment as needed
- Assist skilled tradespersons with carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and finishing work
- Perform demolition, excavation, and site preparation activities when required
- Maintain a safe work environment by following company safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Handle material staging, inventory, and general site organization
- Remove debris and dispose of waste materials properly
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks as assigned
- Travel to project locations as required
Qualifications
- Must be a US citizen
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction, laborer, or modular building experience preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in varying weather conditions for extended periods.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work safely and efficiently.
Work Environment
- Indoor and outdoor construction sites.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, dust, and construction equipment.
- Occasional overtime and travel may be required based on project needs.
