- Enter correctional officer applications into the mainframe/ARS daily.
- Send DocuSign paperwork to applicants prior to their processing date.
- Prepare new hire officer employment packages for processing.
- Contact correctional officer applicants to schedule for processing and assist maintaining the scheduling calendars.
- Conduct background checks (NCIC & SCDMV) for prospective applicants.
- Serves as backup to criminal justice academy (CJA) checks for prior law enforcement or corrections experience in South Carolina.
- Assist the fingerprint/ID station as needed.
- Assist the front desk as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

A high school diploma and administrative experience. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience.
SCDC Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment.
A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
