This position may be eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. • Major duties include, but are not limited to: Direct and supervise the Endocrinology Program, including the outpatient endocrinology clinic. Provide inpatient consultations and outpatient care for the full range of endocrine diseases, including diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and metabolic bone disorders. Supervise and mentor endocrinology fellows, residents, and students. Serve as Fellowship Director for the section's ACGME-accredited Endocrinology Fellowship (approximately eight fellows). Oversee clinical documentation, quality and safety initiatives, access, peer review, and process improvement for the section. Participate in multidisciplinary patient care, conferences, section leadership, and service leadership activities. Encourage and, where applicable, conduct research in endocrinology and metabolism. Direct the operations and staff of the Endocrinology Section, including outpatient clinic, inpatient consult service, and the fellowship program.
