The purpose of this position is to assist the Health Promotion Disease Prevention and Division of Community Health in developing, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness and appropriateness of the Comprehensive School Health Program (CSHP) and health promotion disease prevention activities. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).

Assist schools in all systems of financial support development, i.e., grant proposal to IHS, tribal and commercial resources. Assists with coordination of local committees established in family-based health promotion activities and events throughout the year. Assist in designing and implementing school health program evaluation and promote the safety of participants. Assists coordinator with developing culturally relevant educational materials to inform GSU communities about GSU Health Promotion Department Programs: SDPI, MSPI, DVPI.
