About the Position: A Materials Handler (Motor vehicle/Forklift operator) within the Logistics Division. This role manages storage, distribution, and movement for key commodity areas, including medical supplies, quick supply center items, linen services, property book equipment, furniture, medical gases, and medical hazardous waste. Located at Guthrie Army Health Clinics - Fort Drum, NY. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
- Responsible for movement of stock and maintenance of stock level inventories.
- Ensure the safe receipt, storage, and movement of hazardous and toxic materials in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.
- Receive and unload a variety of items from many different sources.
- Operate equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, dollies, and 22,000 pound trucks in the pickup and delivery of supply items.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) as required.
