Why it's a Great Opportunity: In this temporary role, you’ll support the digitization of more than 200,000 Clerk of the Superior Court records, helping ensure that important documents are accurately converted from physical to digital format.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys structured, repetitive, detail-oriented work and takes pride in accuracy. You’ll compare physical records to scanned digital files, verify that documents are complete and correctly oriented, make minor adjustments in Adobe when needed, update tracking spreadsheets, and work with the vendor to address errors or discrepancies.

How to Be Successful in the Role: You’ll do well in this role if you pay close attention to details, work accurately, and feel comfortable with steady, repeat tasks. You take pride in spotting small errors, following clear procedures, and keeping records and spreadsheets correct and up to date.
 You’ll review many files, so patience and consistency matter. We need you to keep the same level of focus from the first record to the last. Your careful work will help ensure court records are complete and ready to use in a modern digital format.

Core daily responsibilities:

  • Receive and prepare documents for scanning, verifying data, assisting in the proper completion of forms or documents; and research governing directives to answer questions and resolve routine problems encountered.
  • Assist in specially assigned data searches to develop or recover information from non-standard sources.
  • Prepare a variety of routine material and correspondence from written material and recording; proofread and ensure correct grammar, spelling, punctuation and capitalization on department correspondence.
  • Organize, maintain and retrieve information and documents from files and records.

  • One year of general clerical work experience. Additional education or related experience may substitute for the recruiting requirements.
