About the Position: This position is located at Fort Meade, Maryland. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
- Provide comprehensive treatment services across all levels of care, from inpatient programs to routine and intensive outpatient services, including emergency and telehealth options.
- Develop treatment and rehabilitation plans and provide appropriate therapeutic treatment services that may include medication management, electroconvulsive therapy, transcranial magnetic stimulation, various individual and group therapy modalities.
- Prescribe appropriate pharmacological and psychotherapeutic treatment.
- Provide appropriate referrals to other medical and mental health care providers in and outside of MTF.
- Serve as member of local Medical Evaluation Boards for assessment and determination of duty.
