This position is part of the Defense Human Resources Activity. The incumbent serves as a senior technical authority on difficult and complex issues advising other experts on how best to resolve issues and interpret guidance.
- As a Human Resources Specialist at the GS-0201-14 some of your typical work assignments may include: Draft, revise, and edit DoD level issuances and guidance based on senior leadership direction for staffing, review, and issue by DoW leadership. Research and provide information and recommendations with minimal oversight in response to questions from NAF Employees, DoW NAF employers, and DoW leadership involving NAF Human Resources. Attend, participate in, and lead meetings and working groups to provide information and technical expertise regarding NAF Human Resources policies and practices. Independently review and analyze emerging laws and regulations to determine potential applicability to NAF HR operations and functions. Review and interpret data related to NAF HR Programs and operations and utilize results to recommend updates to leadership regarding policies and guidance.
