About the Position: You will serve as a principal staff advisor to the District Commander, Deputy Commander, and district staff principles on matters relating to Human Capital. This position is located in Huntington, WV.
- Leads the District's recruitment and development programs, partnering with regional and local teams to improve organizational effectiveness.
- Develops strategic staffing and retention plans to recruit and retain a highly skilled civilian workforce, establishing clear benchmarks to address potential retention barriers.
- Advises leadership on diverse outreach strategies and drives targeted initiatives for special hiring categories.
- Partners with external agencies to design and execute high-quality advertisements and marketing materials focused on attracting and retaining top-tier talent.
- Serves as the final quality control authority for all outgoing workforce management documents and personnel advisories to ensure regulatory compliance.
