Customs and Border Protection hires along the Canadian line at Swanton and Highgate, the Vermont Air National Guard flies out of South Burlington, and the White River Junction VA Medical Center serves the whole state. Montpelier has the state agencies, Burlington has the University of Vermont Medical Center and the technology firms on the waterfront, and PC Construction builds much of what goes up in between. HR positions lead the categories at the moment.
