TACOM puts its own scope plainly: if a Soldier drives it, shoots it, or wears it, TACOM sustains it. Army Materiel Command is the parent. TACOM manages the ground equipment supply chain, about 60 percent of the Army's total equipment, and its Integrated Logistics Support Center handles repair parts planning for more than 3,500 weapon systems. Six of the Army's manufacturing arsenals and maintenance depots report to it.
