Small Business Administration jobs

President Eisenhower created the SBA in 1953, in the years after the Second World War, and its first focus was helping returning veterans put their skills to work as small business owners; the remit widened later to all entrepreneurs. Four core services carry the mission today: expanding access to capital, providing counseling and training, helping small businesses compete for federal contracts, and leading disaster recovery for businesses and communities. The agency counts 36 million small businesses behind two of every three new jobs.
