U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service jobs

The Fish and Wildlife Service puts its job as working with others to conserve, protect, and enhance fish, wildlife, plants, and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people, and it is the only federal agency whose primary responsibility is exactly that. It is a bureau of the Interior Department and the oldest conservation agency in the country: the origins run back to 1871, when Congress set up the U.S. Fish Commission to work out why the nation's food fishes were disappearing. It also runs the national wildlife refuges and enforces federal wildlife law.
