About the Position: This position is located at Naval Branch Health Clinic Groton, Groton, Connecticut. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Provides comprehensive nursing care to clinic patients utilizing evidence-based approach and application of clinical practice guidelines.
- Independently performs direct nursing care to clinic patients via telemedicine, virtual, and face-to-face care to include triage, procedures, nurse-managed protocols, and medication management.
- Assists clinician with examinations, treatments, diagnostic procedures, and coordination of patient needs.
- Initiates and maintains medical history, records observations and symptoms for clinician. Observes and records vital signs and orders laboratory procedures that may be required.
- Tracks lab, radiology, and referral results and tracks at-risk patients by following the plan of care and assisting in making appointments.
