This position is located in the DEA, Human Resources Division, Office of Talent Acquisition (HRT), Corporate Recruitment Unit (HRCR) This position(s) primary purpose is to conduct strategic workforce planning to analyze current and future organizational skills requirements and capabilities, identifies competency gaps and designs plans and programs to ensure the organization can successfully meet current and future mission requirements.

  • As a your typical work assignments may include: Participates in the development, initiation and implementation of complex programs and projects associated with strategic planning, human capital, and diversity. Analyzes, assesses, and develops short and long-term recruitment strategies to achieve DEA-wide strategic recruitment and workforce planning initiatives. Develops recruitment and outreach initiatives for regional and national levels to provide awareness and interest in DEA career opportunities. Serves as primary representative during recruitment events, to communicate information regarding DEA and its mission and recruits qualified candidates. Collaborates with stakeholders from Field Divisions and Headquarters to determine measurement methodologies that ensure precise assessment of the effectiveness of recruitment initiatives and events.
