About the Position: This position is located within the Fort Campbell Dental Health Activity (DENTAC) facilities. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized.
- Assists dentists in providing complex treatments to patients.
- Prepares patients for treatment by seating them, collecting medical history, and recording vital signs.
- Sets up instruments, equipment, and materials such as assembling syringes and IVs for anesthesia, and mixing materials for impressions and restorations.
- Monitors patients during treatment and identifies signs of adverse reactions or medical concerns.
- Relays dentist's instructions to patients for post-treatment care.
