About the Position: Serve as a Nurse (Clinical/Emergency Department) with the Department of Defense at Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg, NC. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting for urgent or emergent care
- Respond to all emergencies during the shift
- Mentor professional and paraprofessional nursing staff
- Take medical histories to acquire medically necessary information to assess physical and mental status of patient
- Function as a charge nurse on a rotational basis
