This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program EDRP, a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Maintains an active role in the assigned multidisciplinary health care team, promotes preventive health measures, and manages the acute and chronic conditions of assigned patients. Provides comprehensive assessment, diagnosis work-up, and clinic intervention. This includes performing comprehensive patient assessments, incorporating patient health history, performing physical examinations, and conducting patient education. Such care includes both scheduled and unscheduled appointments. Performs other duties as assigned. Work Schedule: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm or 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday - Friday (Several standard tours of duty are available for consideration based on service line and incumbent needs) After-hours call and rounding for hospitalized patients are not required.
