Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Operations Support, Immediate Office of the Executive Assistant Commissioner, located in Washington, DC. - The Audiovisual Production Specialist is a multi-faceted position that requires the incumbent to provide the full range of technical and administrative production to Operation Support's offices/directorates by editing a variety of audiovisual media for production by using established procedures and standard equipment. This position requires the planning, organizing, and coordinating of all support required for a successful completion of video and graphic projects. This position starts at a salary of $121,785.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $158,322.00 (GS-13, Step 10) The major duties for this announcement are listed below but not limited to: Producing, directing, and managing audiovisual projects from concept to completion. Designing, editing, and integrating visuals, graphics, and scripts to communicate key messages. Planning and organizing pre-production logistics, including site visits and scheduling. Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting audiovisual equipment to ensure high-quality production. Training staff and coordinating resources to support efficient project execution.
