About the Position: This position is located at Headquarters, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Directorate of Human Resources, Military Personnel Division, Washington, DC. The incumbent serves as a senior military HR Specialist providing technical advice and oversight for military HR programs, including personnel readiness, retention, personnel actions, and policy. The incumbent advises senior leaders and supports the consistent administration of military HR programs across the organization.

  • Provides technical advice and guidance to senior leaders and managers on military human resources programs, policies, regulations, and procedures.
  • Develops and evaluates military human resources policies, procedures, and guidance to address changing requirements and ensure consistent program administration.
  • Analyzes complex military human resources issues and program requirements to identify organizational needs and develop recommendations and alternative solutions.
  • Plans and oversees military human resources projects and programs involving personnel readiness, retention, personnel actions, transition assistance, awards, evaluations, and mobilization.
  • Prepares and presents reports, briefings, and recommendations on military human resources programs and issues to senior leaders and other organizational officials.
