This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Intelligence & Analysis (I&A). The primary purpose of this position is to development and delivery of homeland security intelligence training for the Department of Homeland Security. Incumbent design, develop and deliver high-quality intelligence instruction to DHS Intelligence Enterprise workforce. Non-BU: This is a non-bargaining unit position.
- As a Intelligence Operations Specialist (Intelligence Instructor), GS-0132-13, your typical work assignments may include: Design, develop, and deliver high quality intelligence instruction to the DHS Intelligence Enterprise workforce. Provide advice and guidance on intelligence training related projects and programs. Serves as an expert on the DHS Intelligence Cycle and Intelligence Community Directives and is able to convey this knowledge to students. Develops and implements a process for gathering data to conduct training needs analysis and incorporating input from internal and external subject matter experts and stakeholders on intelligence training methods, standards, topics, and required skill sets for graduates; and for the review and evaluation of new training programs, concepts, and materials. Organizes material and prepares staff action packages for use by DHS leadership to make informed decisions. Supports coordination efforts with counterparts and colleagues throughout the intelligence and law enforcement communities.
