About the Position: This position is located within the Occupational Medicine Department in Bremerton, Washington This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

  • Initiate standard care that includes performing medical and occupational history, immunization review, eliciting new health conditions and concerns, providing appropriate counseling and follow-up/referral as necessary.
  • Provide nursing assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and nursing care of occupational injuries/illnesses.
  • Participate in the quality assurance program of the medical facility, including peer review, and review of medical records for completeness of occupational health data.
  • Perform work site visits independently or in collaboration with other occupational health professionals.
  • Provide individual and/or group education and training on specific hazards and substances in compliance with the Federal Hazard Communication Standard.
