About the Position: The incumbent serves as a Dental Assistant within a Medical Treatment Facility (MTF). This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Advance in hire maybe authorized to those who are new to federal employment. Recruitment Incentive maybe Authorized.
- Set up and organize instruments and materials to ensure efficient, aseptic delivery of each dental procedure.
- Obtain and record related medical history of patient.
- Chart examination and treatment information.
- Take preliminary impressions for study models, removes sutures, places rubber dams, perio-packs, matrix bands, and wedges.
- Operate dental radiographic equipment to capture intraoral and extraoral images.
