This position is located at the Fort Bliss Centennial Banquet and Conference Center.. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. .
- Serves as a working leader of three or more employees in accomplishing bartender work. Provides leadership, guidance and training to subordinate bartenders. Work is performed without close supervision. Responsible for overall operation of the bar.
- Implements industry best practices and develops a standardized training program for subordinate bartenders. Follows and teaches standard procedures of full service bars, mixing and serving the full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Recommends to management changes to bar procedures, drink lists, and liquor selections. Communicates well with outside vendors and distributors. Ensures bar areas are clean and tidy, and implements opening and closing procedures.
- Keeps records of quantities of beverages dispensed and submits requirement for re-stocking to supervisor. Ensures accurate count of all beverages and ensures items are utilized properly without waste.
- Recognizes intoxicated and unruly patrons and takes necessary remedial action. Uses tack and courtesy to deny further sales to persons whose conduct has become unruly or who appear to be intoxicated
