The Supervisory Security Guard position is located at the Rosebud IHS Hospital, Rosebud, South Dakota. The Rosebud IHS Hospital has 35 beds and serves an approximate population of 16,000. The incumbent is responsible for planning, organizing, improving and implementing the Security Program as well as managing the Motor Vehicle Management Program. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
- Responsible for assessing needs, planning and implementing a hospital-wide security program that is integrated into all of programs within the service unit. Serves as the principal advisor to the service unit CEO and all other allied health staff on all matters related to security. Responsible for all department personnel management activities including recruitment, staffing, employee relations, labor management relations, awards, training and orientation. Oversees and ensures that hospital and grounds security is provided Complete a security risk assessment for the hospital, grounds, and quarters annually.
