This position is located in the Office of Human Resources, Conflict Management Unit of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and is responsible for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and providing advice and counsel to senior management officials on conflict management matters. - As an Attorney Advisor in the Office of Human Resources (OHR), your duties may include: Provides conflict management advice and counsel to all Offices and Divisions of the Corporation and senior management officials on specific cases and matters, serving as a senior legal authority on conflict management and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) matters. Directs the planning, coordination and execution of conflict management strategies, policies and procedures involving significant legal issues or requiring national coordination in conjunction with Offices and Divisions of the Corporation and other federal agencies. Manages and oversees the FDIC's compliance with all applicable conflict management regulations and statutes, including the Administrative Dispute Resolution Act. Researches, monitors and review cases, statutes, and regulations related to ADR to keep the FDIC current in its understanding and application of applicable law. Answers inquiries from the public related to ADR; networks with private sector and professional associations to maintain visibility for FDIC's ADR program. Develops and implements strategy and approach for special projects of corporate-wide impact, including sensitive and confidential matters requiring senior-level legal judgment and coordination across the FDIC. Maintains confidentiality of all information related to conflcts and designs mechanisms to ensure protection and integrity of all conflict-related work.
