About the Position: This position is located within the Civilian Human Resources office at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell, Tennessee. Work schedule is between 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Reviews civilian payroll accounts for employees in receipt of special pay, including doctors, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and nurses.
- Serves as the primary payroll technician in the customer call/service area.
- Operates as the expert payroll technician, providing training to time-keepers, alternates and supervisors on pay and leave issues.
- Utilizes financial systems such as the Defense Civilian Payroll System (DCPS) and the DoD Automated Time and Attendance Production System (DATAAPS) to service customers.
- Monitors pay accounts to resolve extremely complicated problems often involving several months to many years of pay history.
