This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Hawaii has many outdoor activities all year-round including surfing, fishing, and hiking.
- You will serve as the work leader providing instructions to workers received from the supervisor and starts work (assigning tasks to be performed).
- Lead workers in the planning, maintenance, installation, and repair of various types of air conditioning equipment, refrigeration systems, ventilation equipment, and air compressor units.
- Work along with other workers, setting the pace, using proper work methods and procedures. Answer questions regarding procedures, policies, written instructions, and other directives.
- Monitor work in progress and when finished, checks for compliance with supervisors instructions on work sequence, procedures, methods, and deadlines.
- Keep supervisor appraised on status and progress of work, causes of delays, and overall work operations and problems.
