This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel in the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as Team Leader for ten or more employees in accomplishing trades and labor work, within the Directorate of Public Works, Operations and Maintenance Division, Buildings and Grounds Branch. Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required at time of appointment.
- Serves as Team Leader for ten or more employees in accomplishing trades and labor work.
- Passes on to other workers instructions received from supervisor and starts work (e.g. by assigning the immediate tasks to be performed by individual members of the group led).
- Ensures that needed plans, blueprints, materials, and tools are available, and that needed stock is obtained from supply locations.
- Sees to it that there is enough work to keep everyone in work crew busy.
- Inspect ISO containers.
