About the Position: This postion is with the Defense Health Agency, Defense Health Network East. The duty location will be in the Department of Emergency Medicine, Emergency Center. The Emergency Center operates 365 days a year, 24 hours. The standard schedule consists of 12-hour rotating shifts and which requires work every other weekend. Potential hours of work are the 0900-2100 shift. At Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Serve as the initial point of contact to greet and receive patients.
- Perform the full range of receptionist, recordkeeping and miscellaneous clerical duties within the ambulatory setting.
- Maintain all patients' records, both electronic and paper, according to regulation ensuring each entry contains proper patient and health care provider identification.
- Coordinate and/or schedules patient appointments with other clinics or specialties.
- Ensure patients geographical information is current during the registration process
