The LTC Charles S. Kettles VA Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse assigned to Surgery Service as Care Coordinator.
- The Surgery Service RN Care Coordinator is accountable directly to the Surgery Services Clinic Nurse Manager, Associate Chief Nurse for Surgery and Perioperative Services, and ultimately to the ADPCS, functions in the surgery clinic and works to coordinate pre and post-operative care for surgical patients in their surgery section. This position requires a working knowledge of the organization, the surgical process, and an in depth knowledge of surgical procedure requirements. The Surgery Service RN Care Coordinator is also responsible for the development and maintenance of a system of performance measures to evaluate and enhance the overall effectiveness of the delivery of care in the Surgery Clinic.
