This position is located with the Aquatics Center on Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives may be paid. Up to 25% recruitment or relocation and/or retention incentive may be paid (service agreement required). Recruitment incentives are applicable to newly hired individuals/rehired individuals. Relocation incentives are applicable to current, regular full-time NAF employees.
- Serves as the Aquatics Program Manager responsible for the daily operation and supervision of aquatics, training and recreational programs, personnel, and classes at aquatic facilities.
- Plans and coordinates details for reoccurring and nonrecurring aquatic, fitness, instructional, and joint community programs.
- Plans and establishes an aquatic certification curriculum to include lifeguarding, lifeguard instructor, water safety and fitness instructor, swim lesson/meets, special events, clinics, and other certification and educational programming.
- Responsible for NAF budget for assigned facilities and programs.
- Develops and updates the Standard Operating Procedures for the aquatic facilities, programs and enforces policies.
