This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & MRTFB in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The Watervliet Arsenal is an Army-owned and -operated manufacturing center located in New York. It is the oldest, continuously active arsenal in the United States having begun operations in 1813.
- Develops, coordinates, and maintains logistics support policies, procedures, and directives which document methods, techniques, programs, plans and processes.
- Assists with comprehensive evaluation and assessment of personnel role competencies, logistics concepts, programs, and directives pertaining to WVA missions and in identifying required changes or modification of functional business processes.
- Analyzes problems, gathers information, tests alternative approaches, recommends solutions and monitors effectiveness.
- Assists with specialist projects to include status communications, training/coaching, collaboration and coordination within and between TACOM deployment sites.
- Provides support to managers throughout the organization to ensure all areas are properly coordinated and integrated.
