About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the INSCOM, Mission Support Command,, Assistant Chief of Staff (ACofS), G4 - Logistics, Intelligence Materiel Activity Distribution Division, located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
- Providing expert engineering advice and oversight on facilities, reviewing designs and specifications, and ensuring accuracy in engineering requirements.
- Serving as a point of contact for all engineering-related issues within specified locations, overseeing projects, and liaising with various engineering authorities.
- Analyzing space requirements, developing alternatives, and managing engineering studies and special projects, including the development of facilities layouts for unique INSCOM missions.
- Offering guidance on building operations and maintenance, resolving operational problems, and developing design documents for system modifications.
- Managing contracts and providing oversight to ensure compliance with U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command requirements.
