About the Position: Located at Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center at Fort Belvoir, VA. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
- Enters, manipulates and/or retrieves information and data from automated systems as appropriate to the area assigned.
- Maintains and monitors patient appointment or admission schedules for the assigned area.
- Records and relays messages and/or redirect calls.
- Ensures and verifies eligibility for care through appropriate resources.
- Ensures the patient completes all necessary forms prior to receiving care.
