- Subject matter expert for correctional systems and case/unit management related issues within the region or Residential Reentry Management Branch (RRMB) the position is located. Responsible for duties and functions related to correctional systems and case/unit management activities for one or more of the following: sentenced adults, adjudicated juveniles housed in non-federal facilities as boarders, and/or inmates in Residential Reentry Centers (RRCs) or home confinements. Reviews and responds timely to correspondence, Congressional Inquiries and Administrative Remedies initiated by inmates usually confined in state or federal facilities in the region or sector. Serves as an expert in the legal areas relating to the confinement of criminal offenders.
