This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Information Technology (OIT), Infrastructure and User Services Group (IUSG). As a Supervisory IT Program Manager, GS-2210-15, you will manage operations of multiple datacenters and local area networks and security of the CMS information technology (IT) infrastructure.
- Serve as Deputy Director, fully sharing executive direction over all phases of the Group's programs, workforce, and organizational priorities, including assuming full authority in the Director's absence.
- Plan and manage multiple concurrent IT programs, including budget formulation and execution, contract oversight, and workforce planning for a diverse team of technical and administrative staff.
- Review and analyze classified and sensitive information related to IT and disaster recovery operations up to the Top Secret/SCI level, applying expert knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks and mandates.
- Communicate complex technical issues and program recommendations to CMS senior leadership, oversight bodies, and cross-functional partners to drive solutions and support executive-level decision-making.
