About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency. It is located in Administration Uniform Business Office/Hospital Treasury at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center (DDEAMC) at Fort Gordon in Augusta, Georgia. The primary purpose of this position is to accomplish the procedural and processing functions necessary for completing, examining, reviewing, and process medical claims to recover costs for inpatient/outpatient medical services. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Verify accuracy, consistency and completeness of all demographic data entered.
- Maintain records and prepare financial reports.
- Ensure the patient’s medical information is accurate and up to date.
- Examine patient bills for accuracy and requesting any missing information.
- Follow up on delinquent payments and resolving financial discrepancies.
