This position is designated as SES, Career-Reserved. USDA structures its SES positions into position levels. This is a position level 2 with a salary range of $204,122 to $216,010 per year. Exceptions to the salary cap may be considered in certain circumstances. SES employees are also eligible to receive bonuses and performance-based awards. - Develops and administers summarization, analytic, and data management aspects of the agricultural statistics programs to provide official national and state totals, estimates, and forecasts relating to agriculture.
- Develops and administers analysis procedures and systems to ensure accurate survey results.
- Develops and administers disclosure procedures to ensure appropriate confidentiality and quality measures are met for all survey and Census programs.
- Implements statistical models for survey and Census programs.
- Administers geospatial products to use in the preparation of forecasts and estimates, including disaster analysis packages.
