- As an IT Specialist (Principal IT Solutions Engineer) at theGS- 2210-15, some of your typical work assignments may include: Develops new engineering approaches, standards, and methods for AI-enabled operations, multi-cloud automation, and zero-trust enforcement engineering that set precedent for SBA and peer agencies. Advises acquisition and program officials on technical requirements, Statements of Work, cost estimates, source-selection factors, and architecture-compliance reviews. Prepares and delivers briefings, white papers, and decision memoranda to senior executives and oversight bodies on engineering posture, modernization progress, operational risk, and investment outcomes.
