You will serve as a Park Ranger with US Fish and Wildlife Service for the Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge. As a Park Ranger, GS-0025-7, you will participate in the development, management, and implementation of a high quality and balanced visitor services (VS) program by recommending and implementing compatible wildlife- dependent recreation activities. First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the step 1 rate.

  • Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Develops, manages and implements visitor services partnerships Administers volunteer program Develops and implements environmental education and interpretive programs Develops, manages and maintains high quality visitor services program including hunting, fishing, wildlife viewing and photography Develops variety of step down plans such as hunt and fish plans, environmental education and interpretive plan, and sign plan Maintains web site and social media sites to keep public informed about refuge activities and closures Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.
