- This position is located in the Trust Fund Branch, Administration Division, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Washington, D.C. under the supervision of the Central Office Chief, System Support and Security Section, for the Trust Fund Branch. The mission of this Branch includes, but is not limited to, developing, coordinating, and maintaining an integrated computer network and financial systems which service the entire Federal Bureau of Prisons Inmate Trust Fund programs. Assist in the information security and auditing for the entire Trust Fund Local Area Networks (LANs} and Wide Area Network (WAN). Responsible for planning, managing, conducting, and reporting on complex system audits and reviews. Many of the assignments will require providing quick assessments of complex IT issues in a very dynamic environment. The scope of these efforts generally will involve a risk-based approach to assessing IT controls, policies, practices, and degree of vulnerability.
