• The selectee will serve as an IT Program Manager (Acquisition) in the Program Management Office, Office of the Chief Information Officer. Typical work assignments include: Provides direct oversight to the PMO sections and associated policies, strategies, plans, program baselines, support documentation, performance assessments, quality assurance assessments, and program management activities necessary to support the development and implementation of CIO program objectives. Direct and manages the acquisition and procurement support responsibilities of assigned staff in the design reviews, development, system engineering, testing, and life cycle logistics of systems acquired within the USSS that have been approved and funded for acquisition Executes and manages requirements to support acquisition programs, including forecasting, formulating, and evaluating procurement and acquisition support policies, procedures, requirements, and guidelines to promote efficient and effective mission accomplishments. Serves as the technical expert for Secret Service on the acquisition and procurement of advanced IT systems and programs. Exercises position management to achieve the most effective and economical organizational structure to accomplish mission assignments.
